Job description

As a Software Engineer (Machine Learning and Computer Vision) at Simbe Robotics you will be part of a talented team developing retail analytics and insight tools for our Tally solution. Out computer vision pipeline provides retailers unparalleled insights about the state of their store while assisting them to maximize overall performance.

** About this job

Develop, test, tune, and deploy both CNN and RNN based deep learning systems across different customers
Manage and curate real world training datasets
Create photorealistic synthetic training data for augmentation
Research solutions to a variety of open computer vision and machine learning problems, build proofs of concept, and help to deploy and scale the resulting models
Optimize code and ML models for more efficient production use
Contribute well written and maintainable code to a Python and C++ codebase
Assist in architeching and scaling image and data processing pipelines
Build internal tooling to help with automation of processes, data audits, etc

** About you (required)

A machine learning background, with hands-on experience in building real systems
Competent in using Linux and command-line tools
Proficient in at least one of: Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, Jax
Fluent in Python, able to understand C++, some background in concurrent and parallel programming
An understanding of git and github

** About you (bonus)

Experience with synthetic training data generation
Understanding of a cloud provider's offerings (GCP preferred)
Knowledge of at least one continuous integration system (github actions preferred)
