Richard is also Chairman and Co-founder of venture-backed Kooky Panda which creates socially-connected casual mobile games in their secret underground labs in Beijing.
Richard is an active entrepreneur, advisor and angel investor and thinks that Beijing is one of the best places on the planet to start new businesses. Over the past 14 years in China he’s been co-founder and CEO of Dada Asia; co-founder of Shouji Mobile; VP of Int’l for Linktone (NASDAQ:LTON); founder and CEO of MIG which was acquired by Glu Mobile (NASDAQ:GLUU) and a founding executive as VP of Marketing and Sales for renren.com.
Richard is the Co-Founder of the first Beijing Chapter for EO (Entrepreneurs’ Organization), the world’s largest community for entrepreneurs (www.eonetwork.org) Richard received an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University in The Netherlands in 1996, and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in 1989.
