Mechatronics Lead

As Mechatronics Lead at HAX in Shenzhen, Michael works with a talented team of engineers to support the technical development of HAX teams’ products over the course of the accelerator program. With a functional level of Mandarin speaking and extensive experience in rapid prototyping manufacturing techniques as well as mechanical, electronics and software systems design, Mike actively mentors teams both during and after the program.

Prior to working for HAX, Michael was an electronic engineer at RFTech in Brisbane, and Lead Development Engineer at Cartesian Co. where he led a team on design, testing and manufacturing for both electrical and software systems.

Michael graduated from the University of Queensland with a degree in Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation Engineering, a multidisciplinary program focused on developing fundamental and refined skills in the fields of mechanical, electronic and software engineering.
