Ara Varma
Associate, HAX
Ara is an Associate for SOSV working with the HAX team. She manages inbound deal flow for HAX’s pre-seed investments and conducts due diligence for seed to series B follow-on investments from SOSV’s core and growth funds.
Prior to joining SOSV, she worked for generalist VCs in the US and the UK. She also spent time working in the climate industry performing lab research, working with non-profits, and state government in her home state of Virginia.
Ara holds a BA in Economics from the University of Cambridge (Trinity College), having focused on econometrics.
