Sebastian Flynn-Roach

Sebastian is the Laboratory Manager for HAX, where he supports start-ups during their early technical and scientific development stages. Sebastian graduated from SUNY Oswego with an M.S. in Chemistry. Prior to joining HAX, Sebastian was an Environmental Health and Safety Manager at Columbia University, where he led an Operations Team of safety professionals responsible for conducting laboratory services and safety consultations for principal investigators and major scientific research projects. Sebastian has expertise in laboratory safety, chemical hygiene, and regulatory compliance. He enjoys working closely with scientists and innovators to develop and incorporate safety procedures into all aspects of scientific development, particularly during early-stage bench-top scale and experimental design phases.
