Unbox Robotics (HAX 2019), a startup building supply chain-focused robotics, has closed a $7M Series A funding round speadheaded by 3one4 Capital and supported by Sixth Sense Ventures and Redstart Labs. Other participants included SOSV, Arali Ventures, WEH Ventures, BEENEXT, and Force Ventures along with Vijay Kedia, Aditya Singh, Pavitar Singh, Rahul Chaudhary, Nikhil Vora Kathan Shah, and Veda VC.

Unbox Robotics has developed its plug-and-play Swarm robots to provide fulfillment and distribution — for instance, by consolidating orders and sorting them for final delivery. By scanning, sorting, and dispatching packages, Swarm robots can increase productivity and lower operational costs of package sorting in e-commerce, retail, and logistics enterprises by more than 60%.

With the fresh injection of funds, Unbox Robotics will grow the company’s team, accelerate research and development, and expand into new locations.

“We have already got orders from some of the leading e-commerce logistics companies. We are on our way to converting every other pilot or demo into a commercial contract,” said Pramod Ghadge, CEO and cofounder of Unbox Robotics. “We will deploy the funds to build an A+ team to help our customers experience the future of logistics, sorting and supply chain across continents.”
