TeraBora is developing a portable, worm-inspired digging robot that installs geothermal heat loops with far less cost and disruption than conventional drilling rigs. It uses high-pressure water jets, peristaltic motion, and traction features to move through the ground and make ground-source heating accessible to far more homes.
